The Arcas controller is a compact, high-performance motion control for applications like electronics manufacturing, die-packaging, AOI, medical imaging systems, and more. It synchronizes up to 12 motor axes at a 10 kHz update rate, ensuring precise and deterministic control for demanding applications.

Built on a 64-bit Quad Cortex-A53 processor, Arcas combines multi-core processing with Gigabit Ethernet interface for host communication and seamless EtherCAT® connectivity for servo drives and I/O modules. Additional features include two high-speed RS-422 trigger outputs and eight general-purpose 24V I/O lines for maximum flexibility.

With advanced compliance standards and a 10+ year lifecycle, Arcas offers unmatched reliability. It supports panel or DIN rail mounting and meets IEC 61000-6-1 EMC immunity, EN 55011 emissions, and IEC 62368-1 electrical safety requirements.

Developers can optimize and customize motion control using the Prodrive Motion Platform (PMP) software, which provides real-time performance and full control loop flexibility. MATLAB® and Simulink® integration enables the design and implementation of custom algorithms, making Arcas a powerful platform for next-generation automation.
